United Trust Bank (UTB) is continuing to develop its Deposit Solutions service by appointing Francis Ellis to the role of Business Development Manager.
The UTB Deposit Solutions Team provides a relationship-based service that helps finance departments, business heads, bursars and high net worth individuals maximise the return on their funds whilst meeting their liquidity needs.
The team’s experience of collaborating with a range of organisations from SMEs, charities to schools and colleges all with varied capital requirements, means it can tailor products to meet individual objectives. And whilst many personal savings products have a maximum £1m deposit, UTB’s Deposit Solutions team can offer products to individual customers which exceed that limit.
Francis Ellis is skilled in personal and business banking and has nearly 20 years’ experience in financial services sales and business development working with providers including Skipton Building Society and, most recently, Bank of America.
As a Relationship Manager & Business Owner Specialist based in New York City, Francis established a network of influential business introducers including professionals and C-suite executives and consistently received exceptional customer service scores whilst substantially exceeding business growth targets.
Francis will be working closely with Stephanie Charsley, head of UTB’s Deposit Solutions service, and Nicola Cole, Business Development Manager, attending various industry events and conferences around Great Britain as the Bank continues to develop and grow its offering amongst charities, SMEs, schools, colleges and high net worth individuals.
Stephanie Charsley, Savings Distribution Manager – United Trust Bank, commented: “The very positive response to Deposit Solutions since its launch in 2023 has shown there’s a real demand for a bespoke savings management service designed to cater for a diverse range of organisations as well as individuals who have built up substantial savings pots.
“Francis has an exceptional track record for building successful relationships with new business introducers and deposit customers. His experience and skills will help us to build upon a busy first year for the team by continuing to develop our offering, increase awareness of UTB Deposit Solutions and attract new customers from the business, charity and education sectors as well as more high net worth individuals.”
