United Trust Bank’s (UTB) Asset Finance team has scooped two awards at the prestigious Leasing Going Further Gold Awards 2024. UTB was crowned ‘Outstanding Bank Owned Lessor’ and Head of Asset Finance Nathan Mollett won the ‘Charity Star Achievement’ Award for raising over £14,500 competing in the gruelling Marathon des Sable 250km foot race across the Sahara Desert.
The awards celebrate outstanding achievements and service in the Asset Finance industry and this year the name was changed to the Leasing World Going Further Gold Awards in recognition of United Trust Bank being the main sponsor of the event.
Nathan Mollett, Head of Asset Finance at United Trust Bank, commented: “We’ve had a great year at UTB. The investment we’ve made in technology is helping us to agree more deals more quickly and freeing up time for the team to spend more time with brokers and add value in ways only people can. The team thoroughly deserve this award for all their hard work and consistently delivering great service and fantastic results.
“I was humbled to receive the award for Charity Star Achievement. Completing the Marathon des Sable was one of the toughest things I’ve ever done, but what kept me going was the support of all my sponsors and knowing what great work The South-East Cancer Help Centre and Wings for Life can do with all the money raised.
“At the core of UTB’s brand is the belief that everyone can achieve more together. We have built our success on establishing strong personal relationships and close partnerships, with people and connections at the heart of everything we do. We believe that united, we go further.”
