United Trust Bank has appointed Gordon McArthur as Business Development Manager for the North of England and Scotland.
United Trust Bank’s Asset Finance division achieved a 35% increase in lending volumes in 2014 and aims for further growth this year. Gordon McArthur will be responsible for developing new broker relationships in the North of England and Scotland whilst also maintaining United Trust Bank’s existing broker network.
In the last four years United Trust Bank has invested heavily in its asset finance business, building an expert team and increasing the range of assets on which it will lend. As well as a wide range of wheeled and tracked vehicles such as construction and agricultural plant, buses and coaches, the Bank will also finance performance cars, classic cars and a variety of manufacturing and engineering equipment including CNC machinery. United Trust Bank offers a competitive commission structure and will consider loans up to £750,000.
Having worked for more than 20 years’ in the Asset Finance industry, Gordon McArthur is a highly experienced Asset Finance professional with a particularly strong background in HGV finance. He has worked on the lessor and broker sides of the business, most recently as a successful self-employed broker working with Anglo Scottish Asset Finance Ltd. During his career he has established an extensive range of broker and dealer contacts across the North of England and Scotland. Gordon will be introducing UTB’s products and services to new broker contacts throughout the region.
