What is UTB’s Graduate Programme?
UTB’s Graduate Programme is a well-structured rotational pathway designed to enhance your knowledge and skillsets while gaining real-world experiences over a 2-year period. Following completion, you will transition into one of our departments.
The programme aims to expand on our talent development for the future, creating aspiring leaders. It offers a unique understanding of working in a Financial Services Business, rotating through Lending and Control disciplines, including:
- Asset Finance
- Bridging Finance
- Property Development
- Mortgages
- Compliance
- Credit
- Finance
- Internal Audit
- Risk

During your career at UTB, we’ll support your studies towards a leading, industry-recognised professional qualifications. In addition, you’ll have a network consisting of our existing cohort, a knowledgeable mentor and colleagues to help you kick start your career and provide you with real-world experience and support. What we’re looking for:
- Have or on track for a minimum 2.1 degree
- Have studied or studying a relevant degree such as Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or similar
- A passion for a career in banking with a drive to succeed
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and analytical thinkers with strong problem-solving and numerical skills
- Have the unrestricted right to work in the UK post-graduation and available to start in role from September 2025
