Senior HR Administrator | HR
A new opportunity to work in our HR team where you will deliver a professional and efficient HR Senior Administrator Service in support of the business, ensuring that all data and information on employees is kept up to date. You will support the HR team in the delivery of effective HR services in the areas of, on boarding, benefits administration and all stages of the employee life cycle and build relationships with employees at all levels of the business,

Job description
This is a hybrid role – 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities:
On-Boarding
Manage the end to end on boarding process for new starters:
- Create contracts and offer letters and any paperwork needed for the new joiner process
- Make sure all new joiner trackers are updated and accurate
- Keep managers informed of the progress of new joiners
- Ownership and use of onboarding and background checking providers e.g. Hireful and Verifile systems
- Complete inductions for new joiners on their first day
- Organise IT inductions/company inductions/new starter lunches/compliance inductions for new joiners
- Support and manage the on-boarding for any work experience/apprenticeship /Graduate candidates
- Ownership of the 3 month and 6 month probation process
- To be the first point of contact for any queries for new joiners into the business
HR Generalist
- Supporting and advising managers and employees within your business areas on all HR policy and procedures
- Support the HR Business Partners with sickness administration or queries
- Support the performance improvement process with meeting set up, minute taking, letter writing, line manager support as required
- Administration of the Pulse HR system including inputting any employee changes into the system
- Undertake duties supporting the employee life cycle including leave/absence and other terms and conditions of employment
- Assist the HR Director with the Compliance of all the HR documentation within the regulatory framework
- Process annual credit and criminal checks using ‘Verifile’
- Complete any communication and system changes for contract changes e.g. salary changes, job title changes, notice period changes etc
- Manage the system administration for any internal moves/contract changes and create employee letters
- Manage and advise on the Maternity/Paternity/Parental leave process
- To complete any employment/rent/mortgage or other references for current and ex-employees
- Manage the HR inbox ensuring queries are responded to within the agreed SLA
- Organise exit interviews for leavers
- Maintain HR filing system
- Support HR projects and initiatives
Skills and Experience sought:
- Previous HR experience
- HR policy and process knowledge
- Employee Relations support experience
- Understanding of recruitment processes
- Understanding and interest in generalist HR
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of employee relations and HR policy
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A competent completer/finisher
- Ability to work confidentially at all times
- Excellent levels of accuracy with good attention to detail
- Good understanding of HR service mentality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage differing priorities and work with ambiguity
