BTL refinance of historic Grade II listed terrace

Our applicant, a portfolio landlord with several other BTL investments, had purchased a freehold block of three Grade II listed terraced houses. The terrace forms an historic gatehouse and clock tower at the entrance to a cemetery in Nottingham city centre surrounded by a mix of residential and commercial premises. UTB welcomes mortgage applications on more unusual properties including those of non-traditional construction, listed buildings and those situated near or next to commercial premises.

The landlord wished to refinance each house individually and separate them onto their own freehold titles on completion. Each house was valued at £180,000 and we were happy to refinance each one with a £127,000 BTL mortgage as required.
