Developers approached us in early 2012 with a proposal to fund the purchase of a site in south London with planning for 10 flats. The site was located close to an over ground train station and other sought after amenities. However, the developers were unimpressed with the design of the units and chose to spend further time redesigning the internal layout of the building before commencing the project.
UTB subsequently provided a facility of £1.46m against a predicted GDV of £2.57m and the project started following the revised plans being passed.
The developers have since delivered the building on time and budget but most impressively sold all 10 of the units off-plan before construction was completed, achieving £2.9m of sales. UTB is always pleased to work with developers who understand the importance of location and good quality design.
