The future of any industry lay in the hands of its youth and if Oliver Cole is anything to go by, the future of the Asset Finance industry is looking bright.
In 2019, 5 years after taking on his first role in the business with Metro Bank and later moving to funder Davenham Asset Finance, Oliver joined EFT Finance Limited as an Appointed Representative benefitting from all the support that comes with joining an experienced successful brokerage. Oliver set up his own Limited company called Cornwood Finance Ltd with little more than a mobile phone, a laptop, notebook and bags of determination. 3 years and many long hours later, Cornwood employs 2 additional people and, as an Appointed Representative of EFT Finance Limited, has completed in excess of 1400 asset finance deals worth around £60m funding everything from buses to Bentleys.
This outstanding achievement has earned Oliver the New Generation Award in United Trust Bank’s Partner Recognition Awards.
Astrid Michael, Head of Sales for UTB, has worked with EFT Finance Limited for many years and first started working with Oliver and Cornwood Asset Finance towards the end of 2021 and was immediately impressed with Oliver’s knowledge, drive and commitment to delivering great customer service.
